• English (Full year)
• Humanities and Social Sciences [HASS] (Full year)
• Mathematics (Full year)
• Science (Full year)
• Health and Physical Education (One semester)
• Languages (Full year)
  Year 8 Spanish
  Year 8 Japanese

The Arts & Technologies
Two of the following 8 Arts/Technologies subjects in 10 week blocks not already studied in Year 7:

• Dance
• Drama
• Music
• Art

Technologies

• Advanced Technologies
• Digital Technologies
• Food Technologies
• Materials Technologies

ELECTIVE SUBJECTS
Year 8 students choose two semester length elective subjects in order of preference (1-2), or can choose a full year of Specialist Music.
IGNITE students must continue in Specialist Music and will study an additional two Arts subjects from the Year 7-8 Arts Rotation. For more information, follow this link to the APHS IGNITE Program.
